 Noch bevor die englische Compilation “The Collection” im Juni veröffentlicht wurde, erschien im Januar 2001 in Deutschland die erste Compilation, die nur Songs aus der Zeit bei MCA beinhaltet. Bei Polydor (Universal) veröffentlichte mit „You Keep Me Hangin´ On“ eine CD, auf der leider nur ausgewählte Singles enthalten waren. Dazu gab es noch zwei reine Albumtracks („Heaven“ und „Is It Over“). Auch beschränkte man sich darauf, nur die jeweiligen Album-Versionen zu verwenden anstelle der entsprechenden Singleversionen.
 Yet before the british compilation “The Collection” was released, Polydor (Universal) Germany released in January 2001 “You Keep Me Hangin´ On” which was the very first compilation which includes only songs from the MCA era. Unfortunately the Polydor label didn´t include all the singles, just choose some of them and added two album tracks (“Heaven” and “Is It Over”). Another bad point is the fact, that only the album versions were included instead of using the original single versions.
